Deliving into Cadiz 1554

Every chocolate has a story to tell and a unique taste to be discovered. I first discovered the magic of Mayen Monkey tasting a white Tom Kha Gai chocolate brought back  by  my cousin from southern Spain  Tom Kha Gai in White – A discovery journey with Laurence Civil of his best tasting experiences This led to an exchange of messages with their co-founder Eli McCarthy. She recently sent my next tasting their signature Cadiz 1554. The classic creation of the first chocolate created secretly by Spanish friars who added sugar to what was previously a medicine to create the luxury drink of sweet hot chocolate often regarded as an aphrodisiac.
